 New to the Seattle
Area? Been out of the water for a while? Need practice with that new Dry Suit?
Your safety underwater depends directly upon your familiarity with the local diving environment, your
diving equipment and your comfort level underwater. If you’re unfamiliar with the diving conditions
here in the Seattle area or haven’t been diving in a while, we encourage you to take advantage of
one of Discount Divers Supply’s local orientation/refresher dives.
The local orientation / refresher dive is conducted by one of Discount Divers Supply’s professional divemasters or instructors. It includes a briefing covering local conditions, hazards and points of interest, as well as an orientation to special procedures and techniques used in the area. During the dive you’ll be shown some of the interesting points, as well as the potential hazards to avoid. After the dive there’s a debriefing to discuss what you saw and the procedures you used. The dive contains no specific skills evaluation other that a general assessment of your diving ability as it applies to Pacific Northwest diving. Be a safe diver!
