All Ikelite housings for Nikon cameras include a hotshoe connection and housing bulkhead to allow addition of Ikelite Substrobes. All TTL Substrobes are compatible with the Nikon TTL system, providing even matrix metering with the 8008, N90 and N70, and rear curtain sync with the N90 and N70 series cameras. Housing number does not include port. All housings provide aperture and zoom control, or focus control for manual lenses. A special #5508.05 Focus Port is available specifically for the 105mm D Micro Nikkor lens, allowing manual focus of this lens without attaching any focus clamps. The new #5508.05 allows switching from manual to auto focus with this lens while underwater.

A control knob can be turned to keep the focus lock button on the front of the camera body depressed. This is more convenient than operation of the MSC switch which also requires changing a focus switch on some lenses, and disengaging any manual focus gearing in a housing.

The mode, drive, ISO, and flash-sync buttons on top left of camera body are operated by a single control which can be turned to keep any button depressed. Separate controls provide Ps, exposure compensation, and the LCD panel light. The auto focus/shutter release control also allows turning the camera on or off.

The housing is molded of corrosion free clear polycarbonate and operates safely to 200 feet. Rugged aluminum handles and base plate allows attachment of our video lights or strobe arm systems.

Controls are provided for every camera function. Housing will accept the optional Nikon 24mm wide angle lens, but not the fisheye lens. Removable external UR-Pro filter is included. Complete housing and camera weighs only 9.25 pounds.
