An XCD2's "No Stitch Technology" (NST) seam being heat taped at the Bare factory in Langley, British Columbia. The XCD2's 2mm Nylon coated neoprene sections are edge beveled, glued, overlapped and pressed, and then taped on the inside and outside. The NST manufacturing process is exclusive to Bare and yields strong, dry, and durable seams.

The Discount Divers Supply staff makes annual trips to British Columbia to train at the BARE Drysuit factory. There, we receive specialized training in the proper fitting of Bare drysuits (the size chart is just a start). In addition, we learn about the latest free and low cost drysuit options and accessories (pockets, zippers, etc), get re acquainted with the sales and support staff, and find out how to best set you up quickly and correctly with a fine modestly priced drysuit.
