Xcel XF Shorty Wetsuit On a recent trip to the Western Caribbean I took an Xcel shorty for my diving and snorkeling. The added warmth during and after the dives made it all very enjoyable. “When I went to local dive shops looking for what I wanted, to include people whom I'd be diving with, they didn't even know gear like this existed. Abyss Tech Drysuit I have taken my Abyss Tech to the Lynn Canal in Alaska and to Port Hardy at the northern end of Vancouver Island. I was toasty warm at both dive sites. I love the comfort and flexibility of this suit! ~Sherri, Dive Instructor

OceanMaster Mask I decided to buy my Ocean Master mask because of the nose purge feature. As an Instructor, I found that every time I cleared my mask during Open Water class training sessions, my students would all start clearing their masks as well! This was distracting them from the other skills they were working on at the time. With the nose purge, I could clear my mask easily without even having to touch it. ForceFins’ SlimFin I recently took a trip to the Western Caribbean and took the Force Fin 'Slim Fins' with me. Their performance was outstanding for diving as well as snorkeling. I did some current diving off of Cozumel and even against and across the current they performed fantastic. Because they are lighter and smaller than any fin I've ever used, I couldn't even tell I had them on. An added bonus, they pack great because they are so small and light. Beuchat VX-10 Iceberg Regulator I was happy to find that my new Beuchat VX-10 Iceberg breathes much better than my old ScubaPro, MK10 G250. The Beuchat Iceberg adjustment knob allows me to fine tune the breathing to my liking. During emergency training exercises, some of my students have commented on how well my new octo breathes. I have a feeling my old reg. will be spending its days in the depths of my dive bag, while I dive with my new Beuchat VX10 Iceberg regulator. ~Lucas, PADI Instructor

Torpedo DPVs Aaron and I recently tested the Torpedo DPV units. We were able to cover a large area with little to no effort. Since we were not using much energy at all during the dive, ( ~30 minutes to 80 feet) we each used less than 1,000 PSI of air. Once you dive with a Torpedo, you won't want to dive without one. ~Lucas, PADI Instructor
